COS analyzes content across four interlocking frameworks, each grounded in a different body of research. Every submission gets scored on all four simultaneously.

Personality Analysis (OCEAN)

Scores content against all five Big Five personality dimensions — Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism. Identifies which buyer types the message activates and which it misses, with specific rewrites for each gap.

Engagement Analysis

Evaluates emotional triggers, narrative structure, and motivational levers across the content. Identifies which engagement patterns are active and which are absent — each mapped to research on persuasion psychology and behavioral activation.

Framing Strategy Analysis

Analyzes cognitive framing — how the message positions choices, anchors value, and shapes how buyers perceive the stakes. Based on decision science research including prospect theory, anchoring effects, and reference point framing.

Strategic Clarity Analysis

Evaluates coherence between the message and its stated goal. Flags cases where the framing, call to action, or audience signals work against each other — common in copy that was optimized for tone at the expense of direction.

David built SEMalytics after spending years watching smart marketing teams produce content that failed to land — not because the writing was bad, but because no one had a way to measure whether it reached the actual humans on the other end. The tools available measured grammar, SEO keywords, and readability. None of them measured buyer psychology.
